Clergy at St. Andrew’s
The Rev. Jennifer Fraser, Pastor
Jen joined St. Andrew’s in December of 2020. After earning an M.Div from Fuller Theological Seminary, she was ordained in 2015. Her first call was as an Associate Pastor of Youth and Family Ministry at Gilbert Presbyterian Church in Gilbert, Arizona. After that she served as Interim Pastor at Emmanuel Presbyterian Church in Phoenix. Before becoming a pastor she worked as an editor while raising three children.
Jen preaches and leads worship at St. Andrews almost every week. Her sermons gravitate toward the ways in which the Bible guides and shapes our understanding of psychology, technology, politics, science, art, and relationships (and vise-versa). Her first loves are worship and preaching. After that she enjoys teaching anything related to theology and the Bible and leading groups through challenging transitions. When not in the office, she is out in nature—running, hiking, camping, surfing, or just simply walking about.
The Rev. Suzanne Malloy, Parish Associate
The Rev. Suzanne Malloy entered the ministry after completing a 31-year career in law enforcement. Her long service in the crisis field prepared her for ministry as an on-call hospital chaplain. In addition to serving the hospital population, Suzanne serves locally as the Coordinator of Faith-Based Initiatives for the Santa Barbara County VOAD (Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster), and Disaster Spiritual Care Supervisor for the American Red Cross Central California region.
Nationally, Suzanne is a member of the National Response Team for Presbyterian Disaster assistance, and has offered a ministry of presence at a variety of disasters, both natural and human-caused. Suzanne has called St. Andrew’s her spiritual home for almost twenty years, and feels blessed to serve as Parish Associate.
She is the grateful mother of Garrett, who has his own servant career in the field of medicine. When she isn’t deployed, you can find Suzanne on the local hiking trails with her canine companion, Tory, or cheering on her beloved Green Bay Packers.
The Rev. Judith Muller, Parish Associate
The Rev. Judith Muller holds an MDiv degree from Princeton Theological Seminary in New Jersey and a BA in Psychology from Muskingum College in Ohio. She comes to St. Andrew’s after serving as Associate Pastor in Parish Visitation at the First Presbyterian Church of Santa Barbara since 1983 and as Assistant Pastor at First Presbyterian Church of Rutherford, New Jersey where she was first called to serve in Parish Ministry.
Judith enjoys sailing and beach walking, theater and historical novels.
