On Fellowship>>> On Friendship>>> We nurture relationships, fellowship and friendships in a fun, accepting, safe and experiential community of faith.
On Faithful Service>>> We provide opportunities for our youth to live out their faith through purposeful action in mission, service and helping others in our community.
NEWS FOR PYF IN 2012
PYF in 2012 will include lots of weekly happenings, opportunities for community service, outings, faith sharing, fellowship and fundraising. Here’s a preview of what’s coming up.
PRAYER PARTNERS
This is a new opportunity for adults in our church family to be a prayer partner and to make a difference in the life and faith of a teenage youth. Prayer partners pray for each other, greet and encourage each other, grow in friendship and attend occasional prayer partner church events. The Youth Ministries Team is hoping that every 7th through 12th grader will have a prayer partner and will be asking adults to sign up if they are interested.
Tuesday, February 14th, 5:30 – 8:30 at the church - Valentine’s Day Babysitting Fundraiser. PYF youth will offer and provide childcare and activities for children while parents go out for Valentine’s Day.
PYF summer High School Mission Trip and Junior High Camp Trip
==>Junior High (grades 7-9) Camp at Calvin Crest. June 24-30. Includes incoming 7th graders (current 6th graders).
==> High School (grades 9-12) Mission Trip to FIRM refugee outreach and assistance program. A joint trip with First Presbyterian SB. July 9-13.
