Our Involvements
- 1968 … The St. Andrews Nursery School
- 1975… Vacation Bible School is started for children during the summers to explore the bible with friends and discover how to be part of the unbroken chain of believers in Christ.
- 1987 … A Christmas Outdoor Living Nativity presents the story of Christmas enacted with music and the chorus of the audience on the church lawn. The community is invited and this city-wide popular event continues to today.
- 1988 … The church became the North American office for Koinonia South Africa, a Christian anti-apartheid organization headquartered in Pretoria, South Africa.
- 1990… Church members provided food, clothing and aided disaster relief efforts for victims of the Painted Cave Fire, which burned homes very close to our neighborhood.
- 2005 … In disaster relief efforts for Hurricane Katrina, a group from St. Andrews travels to New Orleans and helps restore housing.
- 2009 … St. Andrew’s 50th Anniversary Celebration, Firm in OurFaith, Full Sail into the Future.
- 2010… July 4th Neighborhood Family Fun Faire
- 2011… After the tornado disaster in May, our affiliate pastor Suzanne Malloy went to Joplin, Missouri to provide ministerial relief with the support of our congregation.
- 2011… Movie night at St. Andrews presents an early dinner and family-friendly movies.
