Rev. Dr. Brett A. Becker
St. Andrew's joyfully welcomed Dr. Brett Becker as our Pastor/Head of Staff in April 2009. Dr. Becker heard the call to ministry and served as a youth intern at First Presbyterian Church in Bakersfield while he was earning a degree in Philosophy/Religious studies at Cal State University in Bakersfield. He then attended Fuller Seminary for his Masters in Divinity in Spiritual Care and Counseling. His first call was to an Associate Pastorate in Great Falls, Montana from 1991 to 1997. There he was affirmed for his preaching and that led eventually to his Doctorate of Ministry in Homiletics at San Francisco Theological Seminary in 2001. From 1997 to April, 2009, he served as Pastor/Head of Staff at Bethany Presbyterian Church in Portland, Oregon.
